Mr.KIM Mobile App Users Code of Conduct

As a user of the Mr.KIM mobile app, we expect you to adhere to the following Code of Conduct to maintain a positive and respectful environment for all users. By using the app, you agree to abide by these guidelines and contribute to a pleasant experience for everyone.

These Code of Conduct constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”), and The KIM People Limited, and concerning your access to and use of the Services. You agree that by accessing the Services, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all the MOBILE APP USERS CODE OF CONDUCT HEREIN. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL THE MOBILE APP USERS CODE OF CONDUCT HEREIN, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

  1. Respectful Communication:
    1. Engage in respectful and considerate communication with other app users, including Professional Service Providers, fellow customers, and support staff.
    2. Avoid using offensive, discriminatory, or harassing language or behavior.
  2. Appropriate Content:
    1. Do not post or share any content that is offensive, abusive, illegal, or violates the rights of others.
    2. b. Respect intellectual property rights and refrain from sharing copyrighted material without permission.
  3. Honest Feedback:
    1. Provide honest and constructive feedback about your experience with the Professional Service Providers.
    2. Avoid making false statements or engaging in malicious or defamatory activities that may harm the reputation of professionals or the app.
  4. Privacy and Confidentiality:
    1.  Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other app users.
    2. Do not share personal information, such as contact details or addresses, without explicit consent.
  5. Timeliness and Reliability:
    1.  Be punctual for scheduled appointments with the Professional Service Provider and notify them promptly if there are any changes or delays.
    2.  If you no longer require a scheduled service, inform the Professional Service Provider in a timely manner to allow them to adjust their schedule accordingly.
  6. Fair Treatment:
    1. Treat Professional Service Providers with respect and fairness, recognizing their expertise and efforts.
    2. Avoid negotiating or requesting services outside the App's designated payment and booking system.
  7. Appropriate Use:
    1. Use the app's features and functionalities for their intended purposes.
    2.  Do not engage in any unauthorized use, hacking attempts, or any action that may disrupt or interfere with the app's operation.
  8. Compliance with Laws:
    1.  Abide by all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements when using the app and hiring Professional Service providers.
    2. Do not use the app for any illegal or fraudulent activities.
  9. Reporting Violations:
    1. Report any violations of this Code of Conduct or suspicious activities to the app's support team.
    2. Cooperate with the app's support team in resolving any issues or concerns related to user conduct.
  10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
  1. This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya and East African Community.
  2. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

 

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in consequences, including the suspension or termination of your access from Mr.KIM mobile app.
